codelist step-by-step
Coding
The following table explains the most common settings. Refer to the stated chapter for more
information on screens.

Refer to paragraph "Access" to access XX Select Code.

MANAGE Select Code
Depending on the setting for <Show Codes:> in CONFIGURE
Coding & Linework, either all point, line and area codes or only all
point codes from the job codelist which belong to the active code
groups are available for selection. Codes marked with
attributes attached.

Highlight the desired code.
•
If a point code is selected then any open line/area is closed. The
occupied point is stored with the selected code idependently of
any line/area.
•
If a line code is selected then any open line is closed and a new
line with the selected code is created. The line ID is defined by the
configured line ID template. The occupied point is assigned to that
line. The line stays open until it is closed manually or another line
code is selected.
•
If an area code is selected then the behaviour is as for lines.
