Configuring a GRX1200+/GRX1200+ GNSS for Connecting a
NTRIP Server
A NTRIP Server is built into the GRX1200+/GRX1200+ GNSS. It is part of the instrument
firmware.
Using one of the three NET ports, a GRX1200+/GRX1200+ GNSS can be set up as a real-
time reference connected to the Internet. Real-time data can be sent to the NTRIP Caster.
The following table explains the most common settings. Refer to the stated chapter for more
information on screens.
Step
Description
1.
Use the web interface to configure a data stream to be sent to the
NTRIP caster.
2.
Go to Configuration - Interfaces.
3.
Select a data stream (e.g. Real-Time out 1) on one of the NET ports.
4.
Press the EDIT link on the right to edit the interface.
5.
Select and Configure the real time data to be sent to the NTRIP
caster.
6.
Press Submit and go back to Configuration - Interfaces.
7.
Open the NET port configuration by pressing the NET port link on the
left.
8.
Activate the Use NTRIP mode radio button.
9.
Enter the Server (Caster) IP address.
