tie-rod
clips.
NOTE: Install the boots with the rack in
the straight
ahead position (right and
left tie-rods are equal in
length).

71. Install new boot bands
on
the boot,
and
bend both
sets of
locking tabs.
CAUTION: Stake the band locking tabs firmly.

Replace.

lightly
tap on the doubled-over portions
to reduce
their
height.

Slide the rack right
and
left to be
certain
that the
boots are not deformed
or
twisted.
