ABS Indicator Does Not Go Off (No Ore)

With engine running. the ABS
indicator is ON.
-
With the SCS service connec-
tor connected (see page 19-381.
no DTC is indicated.
Chock the ASS (7.5 A) fuse in the
under-dash fuse/relay box, and
reinstall the fuse if
it
is OK.
Is the fuse OK?

NO I
Replaca the fuse and recJleck.

YES
Check the ASS +8 (20 A) fuse in
the under-hood ASS fuse/ relay
box, and reinstall the fuse if it is
OK.

NO
Is (he fuse OK?

Replace the fuse and recheck.
YES
Check for an open in the IG2 cir-
cuit:
1.
Turn the ignition switch ON
(II).
2.
Measure the voltage between
the ASS control unit 26P con-
nector terminal No. 3 and
body ground.
NO
Repair open in the wire between
Is there battery voltage?

the ABS (7,5 AI fuse and tM ABS
control unit.
YES
Cheek for an open in the B1 and
B2 circuit:
Measur e the voltage between
body ground and terminals No. 14

and No. 15 individually.
