Resolution (Image Quality)

Image quality in the normal default mode is adequate for most copying needs.
Special modes are available for jobs that require enhanced image quality, as for complex
text or graphic images, or high quality photos, etc.

High Mode

High Mode sharpens the image more than the normal mode, and uses more memory than
the normal default mode. Fewer originals can be copied at one time.
NOTE:
Should memory overflow occur frequently, it is recommended that you contact your Konica service
centre to extend the memory capacity in your machine.

NOTE:
When using Program Job function, selecting High or Very High mode in one JOB will be incompatible
with 600 dpi in another JOB. See p. 9-31 to p. 9-33.
Procedure

Set Copying Conditions
1 Close the RADF securely, then press [ AUTO RESET ].
2 Touch SPECIAL ORIGINAL on the Basic Screen to display the Special Original Screen.
3 Touch High mode to highlight it.

4 Select additional copying features, as desired.
5 Touch OK to complete the setting and return to the Basic Screen.
The SPECIAL ORIGINAL key on the Basic Screen appears highlighted, and the High
icon (
) is displayed in the icon area.

Enter Print Quantity
Enter the desired print quantity, using keypad.
To change the print quantity, press [ C (CLEAR QTY.) ] and enter the correct quantity.
