Overlay Memory

Use Overlay Memory to scan and store several images in HDD*, then recall the desired
image from the HDD to overlay onto each page copied in the job.
NOTE*:
Installation of the optional HDD (HD-102) is required.

To Store Overlaying Image Data in HDD

The following procedure describes how to store overlaying image data in HDD.
Specifications for Storing Image in Overlay Memory
❒ Use the platen glass only.
❒ Copy mode: 1s1 mode only
❒ Incompatible Basic Copying Conditions: 1s2, 2s2, 2s1, Changing magnification more
than 201% (the range of 33% ~ 200% is available), AMS, Reserve Mode, Store Mode,
Selecting Output Mode, Setting print quantity, Rotation
❒ Incompatible Special Originals: Resolution (High, Very high, 600dpi), Mixed Original, Z-
Folded Original, SDF, Tab Paper
❒ Incompatible Applications: Sheet/Cover Insertion, Chapter, Combination, Booklet, OHP
Interleave, Image Insert, Dual Page, Program Job, Non-Image Area Erase, Reverse
Image, Repeat, AUTO Layout, Image Shift, Stamp, Overlay

Procedure

Set Copying Conditions
1 Close the RADF securely, then press [ AUTO RESET ].
2 Touch APPLICATION on the Basic Screen to display the Application Selection Screen.
3 Touch Stamp/Overlay . The Stamp/Overlay Selection Screen will be displayed.
