Using Message Light Off on a System Telephone

To turn on or off the message light:
1. Press the programmed button, or press
If you programmed the destination extension number on the button, the message light for the
destination extension goes on/off. Skip Step 2.
2. If no extension number was programmed on the button, dial the extension number of the
telephone whose message light you want to turn on/off, or use an Auto Dial button or Manual
Signaling button.

Using Message Light Off on a Single-Line Telephone

To turn on or off the message light:
1. Lift the handset.
You hear intercom dial tone.

3. Dial the extension number of the telephone whose message light you want to turn on/off.

Paging Features

You can page your colleagues over the Loudspeaker Paging system, or over the Loudspeaker
Paging system and telephone speakers by using the following features, respectively:
Loudspeaker Paging

Simultaneous Paging
I

Loudspeaker Paging (I70)

Use this feature to access the Loudspeaker Paging system if you have one connected to the
system through the PAGE jack on the processor module.
Considerations
You can program a Loudspeaker Paging button on a system telephone to access the

loudspeaker with one touch.
If the Loudspeaker Paging system is in use, a user attempting to make an announcement
I
hears a busy tone.
You can specify the Loudspeaker Paging system as a Hotline alert extension so that the
I
Hotline telephone can be used to make announcements over the loudspeaker.
