DESCRIPTION
Choose a descriptive name for identification purposes. It is recommended you
enter your computer's "Computer name" in this field. This name can be up to 30
alphanumeric characters long. Spaces are not allowed, but dashes "-" and
underscores "_" are accepted.
Enter the domain name (if you know it) here. If you leave this field blank, the
ISP may assign a domain name via DHCP. The domain name entered by you
is given priority over the ISP assigned domain name.
DNS (Domain Name System) manages the relationships between domain
names and IP addresses. For example, the IP address of www.zyxel.com is
204.217.0.2. Without a DNS server, you must know the IP address of the
computer you want to access before you access it. The ZyXEL Device uses a
system DNS server to resolve domain names for DDNS and the time server.
