Keep Alive Support
SNMP supports a "keep alive" mode based on a user-settable time. An event is
generated to alert the upstream support system that the SSU-2000 and associated
paths are functional. This mode is only supported in TL1 and SNMP sessions, not in
ICS, Telnet, or Hyperterminal sessions. The factory default mode is set to Disabled.
TL1:
SET-PRMTR-KEEPALIVE:[tid]::ctag::[tl1_time], [snmp_time];
and
KEEPALIVE:[tid]::ctag;
ICS:
KEEPALIVE [TL1|SNMP] [time]
Shelf Information
Each shelf and distribution unit's description, part number, and revision level can be
displayed. Using the following commands with specific options the hardware
information can be displayed. Refer to
