Take a pair of pliers and snap the tabs off to get the larger opening.
Countersink the gauge mounting holes in the dash. To do this take one of the 1.5" long Phillips head
screws included in the kit, and use a drill to screw the screws into all of the gauge mounting holes from
the front side of the dash. Next take the included 2" long steel tube and place it on a hard surface, then
one by one set each screw into the center of the spacer and give the screw a few light taps with a
hammer to countersink each hole as shown.
