ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

AC GENERATOR CONTINUITY CHECK

Using the pocket tester, check the continuity
between the yellow lead wires of the stator (with the
lead wire coupler disconnected).
Also check that the stator support is insulated.
NOTE:
When making this test, it is not necessary to remove the
AC generator.
Standard resistance: 0,1 - 1
Standard resistance between wires and
stator support = ∞ (infinite)

REGULATOR/RECTIFIER

Remove the driving seat and cowling.
Disconnect the regulator/rectifier couplers from the
electric.
Using the pocket tester (x 1 k Ω range), measure the
resistance between the lead wires in the following
table (from the regulator/rectifier side). If the resi-
stance checked is
regulator/rectifier.

Using the pocket tester (x 1 Ω range), measure the resi-
stance between the lead wires in the following table
(from the regulator/rectifier side). If the resistance
checked is incorrect, replace the regulator/rectifier.

ble check that the recharging works properly using

CONTROL DE LA CONTINUIDAD
DEL ALTERNADOR
Con el tester de bolsillo verificar la continuidad en-
tre los cables amarillos del estator (con el conector
de los cables desconectado). Verificar también el ai-
slamiento del soporte del estator.
NOTA:
Para efectuar este control, no es necesario desmontar el
alternador.
Valor standard de la resistencia: 0,1 – 1 Ω
Valor standard de la resistencia entre los
cables y el soporte del estator = ∞ (infinito)
REGULADOR/RECTIFICADOR
Desmontar el sillín del piloto y la cola.
Desconectar los conectores del regulador/rectifica-
dor de la instalación eléctrica.
Con el tester de bolsillo (escala x 1 kΩ), medir la resi-
stencia entre los cables indicados en la tabla indica-
da a continuación (del lado regulador/rectificador).
Si la resistencia medida no es correcta, hay que sub-
stituir el regulador/rectificador.

Con el tester de bolsillo (escala x 1 Ω), medir la resisten-
cia entre los cables indicados en la tabla indicada a con-
tinuación (del lado regulador/rectificador). Si la resi-
stencia medida no es correcta, hay que substituir el re-
gulador/rectificador.
