INSTALACIÓN BARRAS PORTARRUEDA-BOTELLAS
Lea con cuidado pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES) y pág. 9-39 (INSPEC-
CION SUSPENSION DELANTERA).
Introduzca la botella (1) completa de barra portarrueda
(2) en la tija inferior (3) y en la tija superior (4).
Introduzca el eje rueda (5) en ambas barras para ali-
near el agujero de la barra portarrueda (2) al agujero
de la otra barra portarrueda.
Controle que la botella (1) haya sido introducida co-
rrectamente en la tija inferior (3) y en la superior (4),
véase pág. 9-43 (AJUSTE ALTURA TREN DELANTE-
RO).
Apriete los dos tornillos (6) que bloquean la tija inferior
(3) en la botella (1).
Par de apriete tornillos (6): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Apriete el tornillo (7) que bloquea la tija superior (4) en
la botella (1).
Par de apriete tornillo (7): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Extraiga el eje rueda (5).
Reinstale la rueda, pág. 9-113 (DESMONTAJE RUE-
DA COMPLETA).
Reinstale la cúpula, véase pág. 9-103 (DESMONTAJE
CÚPULA).

 Baje el vehículo del correspondiente caballete de so-
porte central .
Tras la reinstalación, accione el freno delante-
ro y empuje distintas veces sobre la horquilla.
El funcionamiento debe ser suave y progresi-
vo y no deben quedar trazas de aceite en las barras.
INSTALLING THE WHEEL-HOLDER TUBE - SLIDER
UNITS
Carefully read p. 9-16 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENER-
AL INFORMATION) and p. 9-39 (INSPECTING THE
FRONT SUSPENSION).
Insert the slider (1) complete with the wheel-holder
tube (2) on the lower plate (3) and on the upper plate
(4).
Insert the wheel pin (5) on both tubes in order to align
the hole of the wheel-holder tube (2) with the hole of
the other wheel-holder tube.
Make sure that the slider (1) is correctly inserted on the
lower plate (3) and on the upper plate (4), see p. 9-43
(ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE FRONT PART
OF THE VEHICLE).
Tighten the two screws (6) that fix the lower plate (3) to
the slider (1).
Screw (6) driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
Tighten the screw (7) that fixes the upper plate (4) to
the slider (1).
Screw (7) driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
Withdraw the wheel pin (5).
Reassemble the wheel, see p. 9-113 (REMOVING
THE WHOLE WHEEL).
Reassemble the front part of the fairing, see p. 9-103
(REMOVING THE FRONT PART OF THE FAIRING).
 Remove the vehicle from the centre support stand
After the reassembly, operate the front brake
and thrust the fork repeatedly downwards.
The operation must be smooth and progres-
sive and there must be no trace of oil on the tubes.
