Para verificar rápidamente si el faro está bien orientado,
coloque el vehículo a diez metros de distancia de una pa-
red vertical, cerciorándose de que el piso esté plano.
Encienda la luz de cruce, siéntese en el vehículo y con-
trole que el haz de luz proyectado sobre la pared esté un
poco por debajo de la línea horizontal del proyector (9/10
de la altura total aproximadamente - véase figura).
Para regular el haz luminoso:
Actúe con una llave fija de 8 mm sobre el tornillo co-
rrespondiente (1).
ATORNILLANDO (sentido horario) el haz luminoso se
levanta.
DESTORNILLANDO (en sentido antihorario) el haz lu-
minoso baja.

No repare fusibles dañados.

No utilice nunca fusibles diferentes de los in-
dicados para no causar daños al sistema eléc-
trico o incluso un incendio en caso de cortocircuito.
Cuando el fusible se estropea frecuentemente
es posible que haya un cortocircuito o una so-
brecarga. En este caso consulte un Concesionario
Oficial .

Lea con mucha atención pág. 9-15 (PRECAUCIONES
E INFORMACIONES GENERALES).
Si comprueba que un componente eléctrico no funciona
o funciona mal, o que el motor no arranca, es necesario
controlar los fusibles:

Coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición

" ", para evitar un cortocircuito accidental.
Quite el sillín, véase pág. 9-105 (DESMONTAJE
SILLIN PILOTO).
El desmontaje de los fusibles de 30A compor-
ta la puesta a cero de las funciones: reloj digi-
tal y programación sobre-régimen. Para volver a pro-
g r a m a r e s t a s f u n c i o n e s , v é a s e p á g . 9 - 7 7
(ORDENADOR MULTIFUNCION).
Extraiga un fusible por vez y controle que el filamento
(5) no esté quemado (véase figura).
Antes de substituir un fusible, trate de localizar, si es

posible, la causa que ha provocado el inconveniente.
Luego, substituya el fusible quemado con otro con el
mismo amperaje.
Si se utiliza un fusible de reserva, proceda a
introducir otro igual en la sede correspon-
diente.
DISPOSICIÓN DE LOS FUSIBLES
2) Fusible 20A
De batería a interruptor de encendido, regulador de
tensión, reloj.
3) Fusible 15A
De interruptor de encendido a todas las cargas luz y
bocina.
4) Fusible 7,5A
De interruptor de encendido a encendido, solenoides,
motor RAVE, dispositivo de seguridad arranque, sen-
sor acelerador.

For a rapid check on the correct direction of the beam,
place the vehicle on flat ground 10 metres away from a
wall.
Turn on the low beam, sit on the vehicle and make sure
that the beam projected on the wall is slightly under the
horizontal line of the headlight (approx. 9/10 of the total
height - see figure).
To adjust the headlight beam:
Adjust the screw (1) with an 8 mm fixed spanner.
By SCREWING IT (clockwise), you set the beam up-
wards.
By UNSCREWING IT (anticlockwise), you set the
beam downwards

Do not repair faulty fuses.
Never use fuses different from the recom-
mended ones.

The use of unsuitable fuses may cause damages to
the electric system or, in case of short circuit, even a
fire.
If a fuse blows frequently, there probably is a
short circuit or an overload in the electric sys-
tem. In this case it is advisable to consult an
Official Dealer.
Read p. 9-16 carefully (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATION).
If an electric component does not work or works irregular-
ly , or if the vehicle fails to start, the fuses must be
checked:
Turn the ignition switch to the "

any accidental short circuit.
Remove saddle, see p. 9-105 (REMOVING THE RIDER
SADDLE).
The removal of the 30A fuses requires the set-
ting to zero of the following functions: digital
clock and red line setting. To reset these functions,
see p. 9-77 (MULTIFUNCTION COMPUTER).
Extract one fuse at a time and check to see if the fila-
ment (5) is interrupted (see figure).
Before replacing a fuse, try to discover the cause of the

trouble, if possible.
Replace the damaged fuse with a new one having the
same amperage.
If you use one of the spare fuses, put a new
fuse in the proper seat.
ARRANGEMENT OF THE FUSES
2) 20A fuse
From the battery to key switch, voltage regulator,
clock.
3) 15A fuse
From the key switch to all light loads and horn.
4) 7.5A fuse
From the key switch to ignition, solenoid valves, RAVE
motor, start safety device, accelerator sensor.
