Chapter 25: IGMP / MLD Snooping Command List
config mld_snooping router_ports_forbidden
Description
This command allows you to designate a range of ports as being not connected to multicast-enabled
routers. This ensures that the forbidden router port will not propagate routing packets out.
Format
config mld_snooping mrouter_ports_forbidden [vlan <vlan_name 32> | vlanid
<vlanid_list>] [add | delete] <portlist>
Parameters
vlan - Specify the name of the VLAN on which the router port resides.

<vlan_name 32> - Enter the VLAN name here. The VLAN name can be up to 32 characters long.

vlanid - Specify the ID of the VLAN on which the router port resides.
●
<vlanid_list> - Enter the VLAN ID list here.
●
add - Specify to add the router ports.
●
delete - Specify to delete the router ports.
●
<portlist> - Specify a range of ports to be configured.
●
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To set up port range 1-10 to forbidden router ports of the default VLAN:
EAS 200-24p:admin# config mld_snooping router_ports_forbidden default add 1-10
Command: config mld_snooping router_ports_forbidden default add 1-10
Success.
