Description
The command is used to configure the interval for periodical sending of gratuitous ARP request packet.
By default, the interval is 0.
Format
config gratuitous_arp send periodically ipif <ipif_name 12> interval <value 0-
65535>
Parameters
ipif - Interface name of L3 interface.

<ipif_name 12> - Enter the IP interface name here. This name can be up to 12 characters long.

interval - Periodically send gratuitous ARP interval time in seconds. 0 means not send gratuitous

ARP periodically.
<value 0-65535> - Enter the gratuitous ARP interval time here. This value must be between 0 and
●
65535 seconds.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure gratuitous ARP interval to 5 for IPIF System:
EAS 200-24p:admin# config gratuitous_arp send periodically ipif System interval 5
Command: config gratuitous_arp send periodically ipif System interval 5
Success.
