Description
This command is used to configure the amount of time waiting or user input on console, telnet, SSH
application.
Format
config authen parameter response_timeout <int 0-255>
Parameters
response_timeout - The amount of time for user input on console or telnet or SSH. 0 means there is
●
no time out. Default value is 30 seconds.
<int 0-255> - Enter the response timeout value here. This value must be between 0 and 255.

Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure the amount of time waiting or user input to be 60 seconds:
EAS 200-24p:admin# config authen parameter response_timeout 60
Command: config authen parameter response_timeout 60
Success.
