4.2 FRU Removal and Replacement
This section describes the removal and replacement procedures for the PRUs
in the VS 3100 model 30 system. To use this section, find the name of the
PRU that needs replacing in Table 4-1, then go to the section listed beside
the PRU. Follow the steps in the section to remove the PRU and reverse the
procedures to replace the PRU. Always test the replaced device for proper
operation.
CAUTION
Wear a static wrist strap and use a static mat when replacing FRUs.
