2-65. Removal of File Valve.
a
Remove the acre panel from the rea wall of dte bgage
compartmen. In airplanes with seril
numbers 24-4300 and up which have 5th and 6ch sea intalled, remove the sea and then he acces pend.
b. Open the
lve access door locted on the left ide of the fuselge and remove the cap from the
valve.
c
Be sure the cylinder valve is dosed and disconnec the line from the filler valve.
d.
Remove the three nun, washer and swew holdini the fler valve in place and remove vlve
through the acess door.
2-66. Imllation of FIer Valve.
a
Place the vilve into posiion through the acces door and secure in place with crews, wshers and
nn.
b.
Inmtl the cap on valve and dose the acces door.
c. Connect the filler line to the valve.
d. Inall the access pane to the rear wal of the balage compartment and any sea which may have
been removed.
2-67. Removel of Presure Gauge. Ascertain that the conrol valve is closed and there is no presure in the
sysem.
a.
Remove the acce panel on the rear wall of the bagae comprcmenr.
b.- Disconnect the fitting from the back of the preaue gauge.
c.
Loosen and remove the retainer nut and lamp holding the gauge in place.
d
Remove the pguge from the front of the panel.
2-68. Imtallaion of Pres
CGau.
a.
Place the gauge into the panel from the front and secure in place with damp and retiner nut on
the back of the gauge. Be su the gauge is positioned properly before tightening the damp.
b.
Reconnect the fitting at the rear of the gauge.
c.
Inall the access panel on the rear wall of the bagage compartment.
2-69. Removal of Oudem.
a.
Using a suitable spnner wrench, remove the outer half of the outlet.
b.
Remove the srews holding the trim paned and remove the panel.
c.
The oudet can now be removed from the low pressure line.
2-70. nstllation of Oudes.
a.
Apply sealant to the male end of the fitting.
b. Connec the oudet ro the low presure line.
c.
Position the trim pad and secure with screws
d.
Positon the outer half oudet and secure with a suitable spanner wrench.
e.
Torque the fittngs into the outlets approximately 30 inch-pounds. Do not over torque as this
could damage the outlet.
