6-94. Remova Of Paking Bnrae Valve.
On airplne with Serial Nos. 241 to 24-2201 incl. the parking brake valve is located on the aft side of
the frewll near the left side of the fuselge.
a. Remove the valve by disconnecting the brake lines at valve and removing attaching nut, bolts and
wahers.
b.
Disconnect the control cable from the valve lever.
On airplane with Serial Nos. 242202 to 24-2298 the prking brake valve is located under the floor
panel
at he
left set of rudder pedals.
a.
Remove attachig srews and remove carpet and access panel from in front of the pilot's seat.
b.
Disconnect control cable from valve arm.
c.
Disconnect brake lines from valve.
d.
Remove valve from channel by removing nuc, washes and bolts.

Remove the valve se and "0" ring from the valve body.
b. Remove the tinerman nut from the rivet ataching the arm to the valve tem and remove rivet.
c. Slide the valve stem out of the valve body.
d. Remove the spcer and "0" ring from the valve body.
6-96. Cleaning. Inpecton And Repir Of Prking Brke Valve. (Scott)
a.
Clean all pars in a suiable cleaning solvent.
b. Inspect threads for damage.
c. Inspect the valve and sat for damage or wear.
d. Repair is limited to replacement of parts.
6-97. Assembly Of Pking Brake Valve. (Scott)

Lubricate "O" ring with brake fluid before assembly.
b.
Insert the valve stem into the valve body and instll "0" ring andspacer.
c.
Secure stem to actuting arm with nvet washers nd inerman nut
d.
Place "0" ring on valve seat and insall in valve assembly.

Of Paring Brake Valve. (Hoof)

Remove tinermnn nuc, washers and rivet attaching lever to valve stem.
b.
Remove the end fiting from valve body and withdraw piston assembly.
6-99. Cleaning. Inspection And Repair Of Parking Brake Valve. (Hoof)
a. Clean all pars in a suitable cleaning solvent.
b.
Inspect valve body for scracches or burrs.
c.
Inspect piston for scratches, burrs or damage.
d.
Reirsn are limited to replacement of pars.
