Turn the BATT switch ON and continue to monitor the ammeter. If the alternator output does not decrease within 5 minutes, turn the BATT switch OFF and land as soon as possible.

Genuine PIPER parts are produced and inspected under rigorous procedures to insure airworthiness and suitability for use in PIPER airplane applications.
