Remove and clean oil
stainers.
Remove and clean oil pressure
relief valve.
See "High Oil Temperaure"
in "Trouble" column.
Check valve.
Replace gage.
Check line for obstruction.
Clean sucton srainer.
Check sump for metal
particles.
Hign oil temperacure. Insufficient oil cooling.
Insufficient oil supply
Low grade of oil
Clogged oil lines or
straines.
Excessive blow-by
Faiing or failed bearngs.
Defective cemperacure
gage.
Check air nlet and outlet for
deformation or obstrucnon.
Fill external rank to proper
level with specified oil.
Replace with oil conforming
to spedficaton.
Remove and clean oil
strainers.

nicking rings.
Examine sump for metal
pamdcles. If found. over-
haul of engine is indicated.
Replace gage.
