7-9 Removal Of Propeller. (McCauley) (Refer to Figure 7-1 )
NOTE
In some manner identify the position of each part in relation to the
other to facilitate installation.
a.
Remove the spinner (10) by removing the screws (11) that secure it to the spinner bulkhead ( 5)
b. Place a drip pan under the propeller to catch oil spillage.
c. Cut the safety wire around the propeller mounting bolts (8) and remove the bolts from me engine
crankshaft flange.
d. Pull the propeller from the engine crankshaft.

Remove the propeller "O" nng (6) from the propeller hub bore.

The spinner bulkhead may be removed from the starter nng gear (4) by removing nuts. wasners
and bolts ( 1)
