Incorrect inrsulaion of
piston rings.

Check sump for mertl partcles.
If found, overhaul of
engine is indicated.
InsilU new rinp.
Insal! new rings.
Cold weather difficulties.
Cold oil.
Inaccurte pressure
readings.
Overpriming.
Weak battery.
Flulty Igniaon switch.
Move aircraft into a heated
hangar. Heat oil.
In exreme cold weather, oil
presure readings up to
approximately 1OO lbs. Do
Nor necessarily mean
malfunctionng.
Rotate crankshaft in direcnon
of normal rotation with
throtle "full open", and
mixture in "idle-cut-off"
and ignition switch "OFF"
Install fully charged batterv
Check ground wires.
