Cau Trouble
Remedy
Falure of engine to
develop full power.
Throttle lever out of
adjusrment.
Leak in induction system.
Restriction in crburetor
ir scoop.
Improper fuel.
Propeller governor put our
of adjustment.
Faulty ignition.
Adjust throttle lever.
Tighten al connections, and
replace defective prts.
Examine air scoop nd re-
move restriction.
Fill tank with recommended
fuel.
Adjust governor.
Tighten all connections.
Check sytem. Check ignition
timing.
Rough running engine. Cracked engine mouns.
Unbalanced propeller.
Benr propeller blades.
Defective mounting.
Lead depoit on spark
plug.
Malfunctioning engine.
Repair or repaice engine mount.
Remove propeller and have it
checked for balance.
Check propeller for track.
Install new mounting bushings
Clean or replace plugs.
Check entire engine.
Low oil pressure.
Insufficient oil.
Duirty oil screens.
Defective pressure gage.
Air lock or dirt in relief
valve.
Leak in sucion line or
pressure line.
High oil temperature.
Scoppage in oil pump inake
passage.
Worn or scored bearings.
Check oil supply
Remove and dean oil screens.
Replace gage.
Remove and clean oil pressure
relief valve.
Check gasket between accessory
housing cankcase.
See "High Oil Temperature"
in Trouble Column.
Check line for obstruction.
Check sucron screen.
Overhaul.
