Step Checks
1 Does the main motor
rotate until 'E010' is
indicated?
2 Is MLCK 0 V (main
motor specific speed sig-
nal), while the main
motor is running?
3 Is the voltage between
the following connectors
on the main motor driver
normal? J150-1: 24 V
J150 2 = 0 V.
4 Replace the main motor.
Is the problem corrected?
Step Checks
1 Check the operation of
the counters.
Counter 1 (right): total
copy counter
Counter 2 (centre):
printer counter
Step Checks
1 Check the operation of
the fax counter.
Counter 3 (left): fax
counter
Yes/No Action
No Go to step 4.
No Replace the main motor.
No Check the wiring from
J204-3 (24 V)/J204-4 (0
V) on the composite
power supply PBA to the
main motor; if normal,
see "DC power is
absent."
