1 Does the scanning lamp
remain ON during copy-
ing?
2 Is there a correct contact,
and a correct connection
between J205-3, on the
power supply PBA, and
the charging roller?
3 Execute test printing
using (' * 4 * ' ) , '
L-TEST1-7 '. In service
mode. Is the image cor-
rect on the OPC?
4 Connect the test probe to
J102-B5 (+) on the DC
control PBA. Is the volt-
age 0V during copying?
5 Execute ( ' * 4 * ' ) , '
IP-CHK '. In service
mode. Is ' OK ' displayed
as the result?

No Refer to: The scanning
lamp fails to switch ON.
No Reconnect
No Go to step 5
No Replace the DC control
