Checking the parts replaced at fixed intervals
Check that the scheduled parts have not exceeded their scheduled lifetimes. If
the scheduled life has been exceeded, replace the relevant parts.

When a machine is brought from a cold location to a warm location, it is pos-
sible that condensation will occur. This leads to various problems.
Condensation in the document exposure system, or the laser exposure system

(glass, mirror, lens), causes light or dark images.
Condensation in the charging system can cause leakage.

Condensation in the pick-up system, or on the feeding guide, can cause feeding

problems. If condensation is noted, wipe the part until it is dry, or leave the ma-
chine switched on 10 to 20 minutes.
Warning:
the following occur:- uneven density (difference in density between front and
rear),- light images,- or a grey background .
