1. Increase the level of transmission of the
modem, using parameter 07 of #2 MENU.
2. Adjust the NL equaliser, using parameter
05 of #2 MENU.

so that the machine will not respond to the
first DIS.
Ask the other party to decrease the level of

transmission, so that it will not receive ech-
oes.
