When writing image data into memory, data units may be skipped for reduc-
tion. When reading data from memory, data units are read several times (en-
largement).
Vertical Reproduction Ratio (reverse scanning direction)

The speed of the scanner movement is varied. This changes the width of scan-
ning a document. The table below gives an impression of how the copier proc-
esses reproduction ratios.
Zoom Fine-Adjustment

The vertical reproduction ratio or the horizontal reproduction ratio using zoom
adjustment in user mode (in 0.1% increments).
For instance, for 'adjustment width' +1% (both X and Y),
50% -> 51%
100% -> 101%
400% -> 401%
