Disassemble the magneto rotor
◆ Remove the left crankcase cover sub-assembly (see
the chapter on crankcase assembly)

◆ Use the magneto rotor anti-rotation wrench 【A】 to
fix the magneto rotor 【B】, and at the same time
turn the wrench clockwise to remove the bolt 【C】
◆ Screw the magneto rotor puller 【D】 into the
thread of the magneto rotor, fi x the puller disc with a
wrench, turn the puller rod with another wrench, and
remove the magneto rotor
Install the magneto rotor
◆ Remove impurities and oil on the crankshaft
installation cone and the matching cone of the
magneto rotor
◆ Combine the magneto rotor and the overrunning
clutch and align it with the crankshaft.
◆ Use special tools to fi x the magneto rotor and tighten
the mounting bolts
Check the starting overrunning clutch
◆ Place the magneto rotor and the overrunning clutch
on the worktable, and place the magneto rotor and
overrunning clutch on the worktable on the gear
surface, with the gear side facing up, and rotating
the gear clockwise should rotate freely
◆ Rotate the gear counterclockwise, the gear should
be locked in place immediately without slipping
