7.5 Dialer Function

The Dialer function provides a dial-up path from the
6100-Cu to another tester (or quiet termination or silent
switchman) through a switched circuit network. DTMF
(dual-tone multi-frequency) transmission is enabled via
the phone keypad allowing you to place POTS calls.
The dialer can be accessed from the Copper Main or
Multimeter (if FED option enabled) pane and is also
integrated into individual test screens to give you quick
access to the manual dialer function, speed dial and
last dialed lists, without exiting the current test
application.
