Enabling or Disabling the Read-Only Mode
This command enables or disables the read-only mode for the Modbus agent.
config:#
network services modbus readonly <option>
Variables:
<option> is one of the options: true or false.
Option
Description
true
The read-only mode is enabled.
false
The read-only mode is disabled.
Changing the Modbus Port
This command changes the Modbus port.
config:#
network services modbus port <n>
Variables:
<n> is a TCP port number between 1 and 65535. The default Modbus port is 502.
Enabling or Disabling Service Advertising
This command enables or disables the zero configuration protocol, which enables advertising or auto discovery of network
services.
config:#
network services zeroconfig <method> <option>
Variables:
<method> is one of the options: mdns or llmnr.

mdns
Service advertisement via MDNS is enabled or
disabled.
llmnr
Service advertisement via LLMNR is enabled or
disabled.
