Configuring the Cascading Mode
This command determines the cascading mode.
config:#
network <mode> enabled <option1>
Variables:
<mode> is one of the following cascading modes.
Mode
bridge
portForwarding
Important: When enabling either cascading mode, you must make sure the other cascading mode is disabled, or the
preferred cascading mode may not be enabled successfully.
<option1> is one of the following options:

If Port Forwarding mode is enabled, you must configure two more settings to finish the configuration:
On ALL cascaded devices, you must configure the 'role' setting one by one.

network portForwarding role <option2>
On the master device, you must configure the 'downstream interface' setting.

masterDownstreamInterface <option3>
Description
The Bridging mode, where each cascaded
device is assigned a unique IP address.
The Port Forwarding mode, where every
cascaded device in the chain shares the same
IP address, with diverse port numbers
assigned.
Description
The selected cascading mode is enabled.
The selected cascading mode is disabled.
