MX960 Host Subsystem LEDs

Each host subsystem has three LEDs that display its status. The host subsystem LEDs are located in the
middle of the craft interface. For more information, see

If the host system is redundant, the backup Routing Engine is hot-removable and hot-insertable, but the
master Routing Engine is hot-pluggable. A Routing Engine that is not redundant is hot-pluggable.
Supported Routing Engines
The MX960 router supports the following Routing Engines:
RE-S-1300-2048 supported for Junos OS Release 8.2 and later.
RE-S-2000-4096 supported for Junos OS Release 8.2 and later.
RE-S-1800x2 supported for Junos OS Release 10.4 and later.
