during replacement. Because the fans are very powerful, they could pull small bits of
wire or other materials into the router through the unfiltered air intake. This could
damage the router components.
To remove the normal-capacity air filter tray, use the following procedure.
1. Wrap and fasten one end of the ESD grounding strap around your bare wrist, and connect the other
end of the strap to the ESD point on the chassis.
2. Unwrap any cables on the standard cable manager and remove the cables from the tray. Arrange the
cables so that they do not block the front of the cable manager and tray, and secure them with temporary
fasteners so that they are not supporting their own weight as they hang from the connector.
Do not run the router for more than a few minutes without the air filter
Always keep the air filter in place while the router is operating, except
