channel, the SoundStructure "Program Audio" signal is routed to the "HDX
Line Mix Out" channel, and the SoundStructure "Mics" group is routed to the
"HDX Stereo Mics Out" channel.
In pre-1.3 SoundStructure firmware, if the SoundStructure system's microphones
are muted independently of the Polycom HDX system, the Polycom HDX mute
status may not reflect the actual SoundStructure mute status.
In 1.3 SoundStructure firmware and later, SoundStructure Events may be used to
link the SoundStructure mute to the HDX mute and vice versa.
In firmware earlier than v1.3 SoundStructure firmware, any change in the
mute state of the HDX microphones will cause the SoundStructure device to
receive the command
set mute "Mics" 1
or
set mute "Mics" 0
depending on whether the HDX system is being muted or unmuted. No audio
paths are muted inside the Polycom HDX when an HDX, that is connected to
a SoundStructure device over CLink2 interface, receives a mute command.
The only effect of the HDX receiving a mute command is that the SoundStruc-
ture device is sent a mute message as described above. It is required that the
SoundStructure device perform the muting.
