Matrix summary

A pan value of 1 means that the mono virtual channel is only mapped to the
right output physical channel, a value of -1 means that the mono virtual chan-
nel is mapped to the left output physical channel. Values between -1 and 1 are
shown in the following figure.
Balance
The balance control allows the designer to adjust how a stereo input signal is
mapped to a stereo output signal. A value of 0 means that the left input chan-
nel is sent to the left output channel and the right input channel is sent to the
right output channel.
A summary of the matrix crosspoint visual controls is shown in the following
figure and reviewed here.
Bold values are the gain in dB in the crosspoint.
An arc with a circle indicates that there is some panning or balance other
than the center position in effect.
An underscore indicates the matrix crosspoint has been inverted.
The background color indicates which version of the input processing has
been selected - blue indicates the conferencing path (or noise cancelled
