INTEGRATING WITH SECURITY SYSTEMS

HySecurity gate operators provide a 2-wire, serial
interface (RS-485 connection) which allows remote
access to one or more operators. With software
protocols provided by HySecurity, bi-directional
status updates and control commands are easily
integrated with a central controller (computer or
server), which becomes the primary (master) to the
connected operators. Several physical operators
(1 to 99) can be polled from the central master
command station. Reset requests, gate control,
gate status, and gate faults can be monitored
and information can be retrieved from the central
command station.
The RS-485 interface is also used to communicate
with the HyNet Gateway, a web-enabled interface.
