Provisioning functions

The raidcom configuration setting command enables you to perform
provisioning functions, such as setting commands or creating LDEVs, from
CCI. For information about the configuration setting command (raidcom
command), see
Asynchronous command processing
For the raidcom configuration setting commands, asynchronous command
processing is used for operations that take time to process on the storage
system. Once an asynchronous command has been issued, you can execute
additional commands without having to wait for the asynchronous command
to complete. You can also monitor the completion status of asynchronous
