To complete the configuration, you need the following data:

Procedure
Step 1 Configure VLANs that the related interfaces belong to.
<Quidway> system-view
[Quidway] sysname SwitchA
[SwitchA] vlan 10
[SwitchA-vlan10] quit
[SwitchA] interface xgigabitethernet 0/0/1
[SwitchA-XGigabitEthernet0/0/1]
[SwitchA-XGigabitEthernet0/0/1]
[SwitchA-XGigabitEthernet0/0/1] quit
The configurations of Switch B, Switch C, and Switch D are similar to the configuration of
Switch A, and are not mentioned here.
Step 2 Assign an IP address to each VLANIF interface.
[SwitchA] interface vlanif 10
[SwitchA-Vlanif10] ip address 192.168.1.1 24
[SwitchA-Vlanif10] quit
The configurations of Switch B, Switch C, and Switch D are similar to the configuration of
Switch A, and are not mentioned here.
Step 3 Configure the basic RIP functions.
Configure Switch A.
[SwitchA] rip
[SwitchA-rip-1] network 192.168.1.0

Assign IP addresses to all the interfaces to ensure network reachability.
Enable RIP on each Switch and configure the basic RIP functions.
