Parameters: Digital In/Out

5-** Digital In/Out
Parameter group for configuring the digital input
and output.
5-0* Digital I/O Mode
Parameters for configuring the IO mode. NPN/PNP
and setting up IO to Input or Output.

Digital I/O Mode
Value:
PNP
NPN
Function:
Digital inputs and programmed digital outputs are
pre-programmable for operation either in PNP or
NPN systems.
Select PNP [0] systems for action on positive di-
rectional pulses (↕). PNP systems are pulled down
to GND.
Select NPN [1] systems for action on negative di-
rectional pulses (↕). NPN systems are pulled up to
+ 24 V, internally in the frequency converter.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while the mo-
tor is running.
NB!
When changing this parameter, a pow-
er cycle must be carried out before the
parameter change is active.

output.
This parameter is available for FC 302 only.
This parameter cannot be adjusted while the mo-
tor is running.
5-1* Digital Inputs
Parameters for configuring the input functions for
the input terminals.
The digital inputs are used for selecting various
functions in the frequency converter. All digital in-
puts can be set to the following functions:
