FC 300 Design Guide
This parameter cannot be adjusted while the mo-
tor is running.
1-21
Motor Power [HP]
Value:
0.09 - 500 HP
Function:
Enter the nominal motor power in HP according to
the motor nameplate data. The default value cor-
responds to the nominal rated output of the unit.
1-22
Motor Voltage
Value:
10 - 1000 V
Function:
Enter the nominal motor voltage according to the
motor nameplate data. The default value corre-
sponds to the nominal rated output of the unit.
1-23
Motor Frequency
Value:
50 Hz
(50 HZ)
60 Hz
(60 HZ)
Min - Max motor frequency: 20 - 1000
Hz
Function:
Select the motor frequency value from the motor
nameplate data. Alternatively, set the value for
motor frequency to be infinitely variable. If a val-
ue different from 50 Hz or 60 Hz is selected, it is
necessary to adapt the load independent settings
in par. 1-50 to 1-53. For 87 Hz operation with
230/400 V motors, set the nameplate data for 230
V/50 Hz. Adapt par. 4-13 Motor Speed High Limit
[RPM) and par. 3-03 Maximum Reference to the
87 Hz application.
1-24
Motor Current
Value:
Motor type dependent.

Function:
Enter the nominal motor current value from the
motor nameplate data. The data are used for cal-
culating torque, motor protection etc.
1-25
Motor Nominal Speed
Value:
100 - 60000 RPM
Function:
Enter the nominal motor speed value from the
motor nameplate data. The data are used for cal-
culating motor compensations.
1-26
Motor Cont. Rated Torque
Value:
1.0 - 10000.0 Nm
Function:
Enter the value from the motor nameplate data.
The default value corresponds to the nominal rat-
ed output. This parameter is available when par.
1-10Motor Design is set to PM, non salient SPM
[1], i.e. the parameter is valid for PM and non-sa-
lient SPM motors only.
1-29
Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA)
Value:
OFF
Enable complete AMA
Enable reduced AMA
Function:
The AMA function optimises dynamic motor per-
formance by automatically optimising the ad-
vanced motor parameters (par. 1-30 to par. 1-35)
while the motor is stationary.
Select the type of AMA. Enable complete AMA [1]

FC 301:
The Complete AMA does not include X
