If the maximum number of MLD groups is set to the default value, the

running status of MLD throttling will change to false. This means that
any configuration for MLD throttling will have no effect until the
maximum number of MLD groups is configured to another value.

This command sets the MLD throttling action for an interface on the switch.

deny - The new multicast group join report is dropped.
replace - The new multicast group replaces an existing group.

When the maximum number of groups is reached on a port, the switch can
take one of two actions; either "deny" or "replace." If the action is set to
deny, any new MLD join reports will be dropped. If the action is set to
replace, the switch randomly removes an existing group and replaces it
with the new multicast group.

This command drops any received MLD query packets. Use the no form to
restore the default setting.
