Install the thermostat with its breather hole a
aligned with the this place b on the thermostat
housing.
2. Install:
S Thermostat cover
S Bolts
(thermostat housing)
Bolt (thermostat housing):
10 Nm (1.0 mSkg, 7.2 ftSlb)
3. Install:
S Water temperature sensor 1
(to the thermostat housing)
Water temperature sensor
23 Nm (2.3 mSkg, 17 ftSlb)
CAUTION:
Use extreme care when handling the water
temperature sensor. Replace any part that
was dropped or subjected to a strong im-
pact.
