NOTE:

web and the numbers 1 on the connecting
rods are used to determine the replacement
big end bearing sizes.

crankshaft illustration.
Selection of bearings:
For example, if the connecting rod "P

16. Inspect:
S Crankcase:
Cracks/damage ! Replace.
NOTE:
Thoroughly wash the crankcase halves in a mild
solvent.
Thoroughly clean all the gasket surfaces and
crankcase mating surfaces.
S Oil delivery passages
Obstruction ! Blow out with compressed air.
