SIGNAL SYSTEM
ENGINE OIL LEVEL SWITCH
1. Remove:
S Oil level gauge 1
2. Connect:
S Pocket tester
(to the oil level switch coupler)
3. Inspect:
S Oil level switch continuity
Faulty ! Replace.

FUEL SENDER
1. Remove:
S Intake silencer
Refer to "FUEL PUMP" in CHAPTER 7.
S Fuel sender 1
(from the fuel tank)
2. Connect:
S Pocket tester
(to the fuel sender coupler)
3. Measure:
S Full a
S Empty b
S Fuel sender resistance
Out of specification ! Replace.
Fuel sender resistance (full):
4 X 10 at 20_C (68_F)
Fuel sender resistance (empty):
90 X 100 at 20_C (68_F)
