ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT/CRANKCASE BREATHER
HOSE INSPECTION/CARBURETOR JOINTS INSPECTION
10. Inspect:
S Engine oil pressure
Inspection steps:
S Slightly loosen the oil gallery bolt 1 .
S Start the engine and keep it idling until engine
oil starts to seep from the oil gallery bolt.
If no engine oil comes out after one minute,
turn the engine off so that it will not seize.
S Check the engine oil passages, the oil filter
and the oil pump for damage or leakage.
S Start the engine after solving the problem(-s)
and check the engine oil pressure again.
Tighten the oil gallery bolt to specification.

10 Nm (1.0 mSkg, 7.2 ftSlb)
CRANKCASE BREATHER HOSE
INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
S Crankcase breather hose 1
Cranks/damage ! Replace.
Loosen connection ! Connect properly.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the crankcase breather hose
is routed correctly.
CARBURETOR JOINTS INSPECTION
1. Remove:
S Silencer assembly
2. Inspect:
S Carburetor joints 1
Refer to "CARBURETORS" in CHAPTER 6.
