Send Options

You can specify fax transmission conditions in the [Send Options] screen. The following
shows the reference section for each feature.

Select [Fax/Internet Fax] on the [All
Services] screen.

Select the [Send Options] tab and
then select a feature on the [Send
Options] screen that appears.

Communication Mode (Selecting a Communication Mode)

You can select a communication mode based on the features of the remote machine.
G3 is the international standard for facsimile transmissions established by the ITU-T.

• When the speed dialing, one touch buttons, group dialing, or address book is used to specify
a recipient registered in a address number, the communications mode currently set to the
address number is set and cannot be changed. For information on how to register address
numbers, refer to "Address Book (Address Number)" (P.347).
• The communication mode default value can be changed in the System Administration mode.
For information on how to change the default values, refer to "Communication Mode"
(P.314).
