Basic operation
Recording paper size
As default, your machine selects the paper source automatically, however if you wish to
select the paper source manually, press
size is displayed. The
toggles the paper size in the 1st cassette, 2nd cassette (if
LCD
i n s talled), the bypass tray and Auto select mode.
Note: If the bypass tray has no paper, t h e
bypass tray.
Note: When you choose the auto paper select mode, the

However, i f t h e b y pass tray has no paper and the optional
2nd paper cassette has not been insta l l e d ,
the machine will show the

Setting the contrast allows you to compensate for any excessive light or darkness, of
the document pages you are copying.
