Troubleshooting Checklist
Cannot Ping ipc1-im8130
Check
1 Confirm that the TCP/IP protocol
suite is installed on the client
workstation.
2 Look at the startup page and
confirm the TCP/IP settings are
correct. Is the IP Address entered
and valid? Are the Gateway and
Subnet settings correct?
3 Reboot the ipc1-im8130 from the
LCD touch screen. Do not
physically power down the
controller. Once the controller
comes back online, check the
startup page that prints out. Are
the TCP/IP settings correct?
4 Try to ping the ipc1-im8130
again. Did the ipc1-im8130
respond to the ping?
